About the session

At the start of the COVID-19 pandemic Anglian Water adapted a framework used to organise an operational headquarters, known as J Cells, to bring together a team of teams to deal with the complexity of the pandemic. Using this framework, Anglian Water was able to successfully navigate the challenges of the crisis.

Since the pandemic the use of the J cell's framework has evolved within Anglian Water, with cells becoming synonymous with collaboration and agility. When the business needs to bring together a cross functional team of teams to tackle a key business challenge they set up cells.

This session will explain how the cells work, providing a case study in collaboration and an Agile way of working that breaks down traditional silos in businesses.

Techniques, Collaboration, Team of Teams, Psychological Safety.
