This presentation introduces a four-dimensional approach to understanding humans, both in terms of their characteristics and the benefits they seek from a user experience.

The four dimensions are:

Physical (to do with the body and the senses)

Psychological (cognition and emotion)

Social (relationships and status)

Ideological (tastes and values).
